For the first time in a long while, the Loyan family had gathered together to embark on a vacation. Queen Sara had been quite adamant about visiting the warm beaches of Darbor's shores, going out of her way to drag her husband King Antonio away from his busy schedule to do so.
Naturally, their two daughters, Nadia and Elvina had tagged along, both sharing their mother's excitement in getting a chance to kick back and relax under the sun. The Royal Guards Rui, Rika and Ruki and maid Marie rounded out the trope.
Unfortunately, by the time they got there the weather had proven to be cooler than they had expected. Rather than spending much time

The Rhythmic rampage of Haruhi Suzumiya
“It’s simple. With the SOS brigade representing North High in a dominating victory, we’ll spread our reputation far and wide!” Haruhi declared confidently. “For the next one hundred and twelve years, when people are at a rythmic gymnastics competition they’ll think to themselves: Gee, I wonder if there are strange and extraordinary creatures out there. Let's go search for them!” Haruhi grinned with delight.
“This is a villainous goal!” The brown haired boy besides Haruhi protested. “Fans of gymnastics will rue the day you corrupted their sport! Why don’t you consider other peo

Marigold and the Dwarven Sapphire - Pt 2
I was in for another shock when I opened the front door of my flat. I gasped as I saw our living room covered by spider webbing, with tables and chairs overturned and scorch marks against the wall following a scuffle which had evidently involved magical enchantments. I suddenly realised why Bluebell hadn’t turned up for the ball. She’d never even made it to the Royal Palace.
Hazelnut realised this too, and breathed, “Daffodils, why would they have attacked your friend first?”
I was forming a surprisingly accurate hypothesis in my head. “Foxglove,” I murmured. “He’s the only one ca

Marigold and the Dwarven Sapphire - Pt 1
Well greetings to you all. Erm…sorry if I’m not quite as eloquent as you’re used to. You see this is Marigold, princess of the Daffoville Royal Family and fourth in line to the throne speaking to you now. I’m much more comfortable getting my hands dirty with my potted plants than I am telling stories. Bluebell is the much better storyteller, which is fortunate because she’s usually the centre of events here in Daffoville, which she drags me into as a result. But as for why I’m telling you this tale instead of her…well perhaps it’s best I get straight into the story. It’ll all be made clear
It was a truly beautiful evening. The moon was full and seemed to fill the entire sky, illuminating my forest home as brightly as the sun. It was beautifully warm without a breath of wind, bringing a serene peace to the inhabitants of the city of Daffoville. But the air was far from still. It was filled with the sound of an orchestra performing the latest composition from Mosszart, our greatest musician. Pan pipes, harps made out of reeds, violins and cellos made out of dried leaves and countless fairy bells could all be heard.
The conductor was not only controlling the orchestra, but used his baton to direct the swirling mass of firef

Bluebell's Birthday Surprise Pt 2
“Eeergggh, look at her. It’s one of those humans.”
“I heard that they breathe fire to melt their enemies.”
“Blackberry told me that they can kill people with just their voices.”
As Rebecca ran through the firefly illuminated streets in her wedge high heels, she tried to ignore the comments of the passing children playing on a nearby swing set. They continued to gawp as she ran past them, having been raised on the stories of humans as being monsters under their bed. But Rebecca, a girl who had once been mercilessly bullied for her strong environmental views at her posh boarding school

Bluebell's Birthday Surprise Pt 1
I’ve never been one for surprises, but on the day of my ninth birthday I got the biggest surprise of my life. Just as I was preparing to unwrap my long-awaited presents my grandfather, who I hadn’t seen in six years, walked in through our front door. I barely recognised him, and was merely surprised and bewildered by his arrival. But my dad was furious. The argument over his long disappearance lasted for hours, while I sat being consoled by my mother as I stared at my pile of unopened presents.
It was at my mum’s intervention that my dad agreed to let Granddad Lupin take me on a day out shortly afterwards, to rebuild o

The White Mage's Awakening - Conclusion
“Don’t you ever do that to me again Blue!” exclaimed Fern, her hands flung tightly about my neck.
“Fern, what are you doing here?” I asked, completely surprised by the sudden arrival of my green haired flatmate.
“Looking for you,” said another familiar voice. I looked to the sky as out of it flew Conifer, commander of the Nymph Defence Force and Fern’s father. His green moustache moving animatedly he said, “The question I want answered is where in buttercups have you been?”
Before I could explain I felt Fern tensing up in shock. Only then did I realise that she was
